Just a Lion

Hey guys, first off I wanted to say I love the new banner at the top. Looks sweet. I just got back from vacationing in New Jersey. On the drive back to Texas I got to stop by the Brandywine Museum in Chadd's Ford Pennsylvania and I have to say it is amazing and I strongly recommend everyone see it. Seeing N.C. Wyeth's work is awesome in person.
Also, welcome to the mob for all the new comers, your work looks great!

This here's a speed paint challenge put forward from our creative director's child...

'We were sitting at the table having dinner last night when my 4 year old said, “We should have Yoda meat some time.” After I was done laughing (and explaining the limitations of the meat department at Albertsons), I was thinking that might make a good challenge… assuming Lucas doesn’t sue us or something. It’s just a thought. I wanted to share that golden memory with you anyway.'

Gator Bait

This is a commission I did for a friend. (Albert Gator) University of Florida Mascot.

Its a rare treat to see my work and my hope combine into the same project, but Josh Cole has generously allowed me to do just that. Now featured in the 70Star7.com online store is a limited edition shirt of my illustration "What Goes Around". The proceeds from this shirt will go to benefit Family to Family Humanitarian Expeditions, the same group I just went to Bermejillo with. While this shirt will cost more that the average tee, you can be confident that you'll not only own a rare item, but also be helping a great cause.

i found this story about a fox who tricks a crow to get some bred and ive been wanting to do a short book of it and been workin on drawings of corws to use and this is one that i came up with and like so i refined the drawing and painted it today i think it might be a little to bad ass to get tricked by a fox well have to see.

Some Charity work

I found an outcry for 350 million illustrated cards on a fellow illustrators blog and got excited at the chance to help. Anyone and everyone is welcome to send something. It is to celebrate the birthday of a kid that has been hospitalized with Leukemia since the age of 5. If you want to know more you can find a link for Andy Smiths blog on my links section.
