New Assignment?

Hey everybody. Just throwing out an idea on a new assignment. I thought it might be cool to use the topic of Cryptozoology. I wish I new what the actual definition was, but feel free to do anything from Bigfoot to Lochness to Giant Squids and everywhere in between. Like I said anything.

Let me know what y'all think or offer your own ideas on something different.

Cryptozoology (from Greek: κρυπτός, kryptós, "hidden"; ζῷον, zôon, "animal"; and λόγος, logos, "knowledge" or "study" – c.f. zoology) is the search for animals hypothesized to exist, but for which conclusive proof is missing. The field also includes the search for known animals believed to be extinct.

i wanted to be one when i was in elementary school...

Sweet. Okay, this assignment will be first post. I hope I can live up to the quality that's on this site.

That picture is a Dumbo squid, by the way. You gotta hand it to the biologist that named that one. :)

Bah! That's Dumbo octopus! Not squid.

And, of course, there's always this: http://www.boingboing.net/mog.jpg
